League Constitution
KASTLR Competitive is an independent, privately operated South African CS2 competitive league. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Valve Corporation.
Structure
- The league operates on an open promotion and relegation model. No permanent team slots exist.
- Season 1 consists of a single Premier Division with up to 8 teams.
- Future seasons will introduce a Challenger Division and Open Division with promotion pathways between all tiers.
- The league is operated by Kastlr. All administrative decisions are final unless successfully appealed under the appeals process below.
Registration
- Teams must register during the official registration window for each season.
- Registration is confirmed only once all roster eligibility checks have passed.
- A minimum of 5 active players must be registered before registration is confirmed.
- A roster lock date applies each season. No additions or removals are permitted after the roster lock unless approved by administration.

- VAC-clean account. No active VAC bans permitted.
- South African resident. Self-declaration required at registration.
- Minimum account age of 6 months at time of registration.

- Demo submission is mandatory for all matches. Demos must be uploaded within 1 hour of match completion.
- Administration reserves the right to review any demo at any time for integrity purposes.
Prize money will only be released after successful off-platform identity verification. Players who may receive prize money must agree to this condition at registration.
Code of Conduct
All participants — players, coaches, team representatives and spectators — are expected to conduct themselves with professionalism and respect.
Prohibited Behaviour
- Abuse, harassment or discrimination of any kind directed at any participant, administrator or spectator.
- Intentional disconnection to gain advantage or delay a match.
- Use of third-party software that provides any competitive advantage not present in the default CS2 client.
- Smurfing — playing on an account that does not belong to the registered player.
- Public disparagement of the league, its administrators, sponsors or participants in a manner that brings the league into disrepute.
Penalties
Violations of the code of conduct may result in a formal warning, match forfeiture, suspension or permanent ban from the league, at the discretion of administration. All penalties are subject to the appeals process.
Integrity Policy
Match fixing, result manipulation and any form of competitive corruption will result in immediate and permanent bans for all individuals involved. No appeals will be accepted for match fixing violations.
Prohibited
- Agreeing in advance to a specific match result or scoreline.
- Deliberately underperforming to influence standings, seeding or prize distribution.
- Accepting payment or benefit of any kind in exchange for influencing a match result.
- Sharing insider information with betting entities regarding match outcomes.
- Failing to report a known or suspected integrity violation to administration.
Reporting
Integrity concerns must be reported to comp@kastlr.com with as much evidence as possible. All reports are treated confidentially.
Technical Rules
Match Scheduling

- Teams must agree on a specific match time at least 48 hours in advance.
- Reschedule requests must be submitted to administration at least 24 hours before the original scheduled time.

Disconnections
- If a player disconnects within the first 5 seconds of a round, the round may be replayed at the discretion of the opposing team captain.
- Each team is permitted one technical pause of up to 5 minutes per map.
- Extended technical issues that prevent match completion must be reported to administration immediately.
Walkovers
- If a team fails to field 5 eligible players within 15 minutes of the scheduled match time, a walkover will be awarded to the opposing team.
- A walkover counts as a 2-0 result against the forfeiting team.
- Two walkovers in a season may result in disqualification.
GSI Config
Players are required to install the KASTLR GSI configuration file to enable live stat tracking. The config file is available from this link and must be placed in the CS2 config directory. Installation instructions are included with the file. The config is read-only — it cannot modify game behaviour in any way.
Prize Distribution
Prize pool amounts are announced at the start of each season and published publicly on this website. All figures are in South African Rand (ZAR).
Distribution
- Prize money is distributed to individual players on winning rosters, not to teams as entities.
- Distribution within a team is determined by the team themselves.
- Only players who appear on the confirmed season roster are eligible for prize money.
Identity Verification
As required by South African financial regulations, all prize recipients must complete off-platform identity verification before funds are released. This process is conducted privately and confidentially. Players agree to this requirement at registration.
Payment Timeline
Prize payments are processed within 14 business days of the Grand Final, subject to successful identity verification.
